Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sheridan waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Morgan Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

Sheridan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Stoltz led the charge by getting 20 digs and three assists. Stoltz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 32 games she's played dating back to last season. Maddie Stoltz was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Morgan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Sheridan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Olentangy Berlin on the 4th. As for Morgan, they will face off against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
