Football Game Recap: Pymatuning Valley vs. Grand Valley

Grand Valley put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They steamrollered Pymatuning Valley 42-6. That result was just more of the same for Grand Valley, who also won the last time these teams played.

Grand Valley's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 28 first-half points. Pymatuning Valley countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 28-6 going into the half. Grand Valley put the match away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The game brought them to 5-1 and dropped Pymatuning Valley to a mirror-image 1-5.

Next week Grand Valley take on Mathews at 7:00 PM. Mathews took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Grand Valley's good fortune. Pymatuning Valley will look to defend their home turf against Chalker at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
