Basketball Recap: Enderlin Eagles vs. Lisbon Broncos
Enderlin lost against Lisbon back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Enderlin Eagles took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lisbon Broncos.

Despite the loss, Enderlin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eve Chamberlin went 6 of 12 on her way to 14 points and eight rebounds. Chamberlin is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aspyn Schlecht, who posted 11 points.
Lisbon was led to victory by Ryatt Wertman and Brynley Differding. Wertman had 21 points and five rebounds, while Differding almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Wertman continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Wiltse, who posted ten points.
Enderlin dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lisbon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Enderlin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Napoleon at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Lisbon also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Ellendale at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th.
