Cabot faced Benton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Cabot came out on top against Benton by a score of 3-1. Cabot is really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.

The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Cabot found their leader in sophomore Whitney Shepherd, who had 12 digs and two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Benton lost, don't look at Rylynn Poor. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and three assists.

Cabot's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Benton, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-5.
