After losing to Prescott the last time they met, Durand-Arkansaw decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0).
Durand-Arkansaw never let Prescott on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 27-25, 25-16.
Gabby Sailer paced Durand-Arkansaw's offense, picking up six kills. Sailer got some help from Kennedy Garner and her 11 assists. Garner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Durand-Arkansaw has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season. As for Prescott, they dropped their record down to 3-25 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road.
