Soccer Game Preview: Del Oro vs. Delano

The Del Oro Suns will face off against the Delano Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Del Oro's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Del Oro came up short against Golden Valley and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Suns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 880th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 320th).

Meanwhile, Delano didn't have quite enough to beat Kennedy on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Lionel Madrigal and Oscar Sandoval scored both of Delano's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Del Oro's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-5. As for Delano, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7-2.
