Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Mountain Range has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens on Tuesday, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Mountain Range were already down 3-0.

Malorie Gallardo and Jasmine Foltz scored both of Mountain Range's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Riverdale Ridge, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1.

Coming up, Mountain Range will challenge Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will face off against Boulder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Riverdale Ridge's offense will have their work cut out for them.
