Baseball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Comes Up Short

Morristown-Hamblen East lost against Sevier County on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes fell 15-12 to the Sevier County Smoky Bears. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson Winstead was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Bryson Walker was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Morristown-Hamblen East's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sevier County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
