Baseball Recap: Oxford Prep Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Oxford Prep entered their tilt with Excelsior Classical Academy on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Flying Lions. Considering the Griffins have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Oxford Prep let Hunter Woodlief and Gage Hobgood run wild. Woodlief scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Hobgood scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Faulkner, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
