Basketball Game Preview: Savannah Christian Raiders vs. Swainsboro Tigers

The Savannah Christian Raiders will head out to face off against the Swainsboro Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Savannah Christian came up short against Woodville-Tompkins and fell 49-36. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Swainsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 73-60 to Savannah Country Day.

Savannah Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. As for Swainsboro, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Savannah Christian couldn't quite finish off Swainsboro in their previous matchup back in January and fell 62-60. Can Savannah Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
