Eno River Academy faced Riverside-Durham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bobcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates. The victory was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

Eno River Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Riverside-Durham saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jacob Feller had eight digs and two aces. Feller is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Eno River Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Riverside-Durham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eno River Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Riverside-Durham will face off against rival Carrboro at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
