Football Recap: Walter Panas' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Walter Panas managed to slip by Peekskill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Red Devils on Friday, falling 30-7. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Matthew Mekuto threw for 26 yards on three of 18 attempts. On the ground, Jack Doherty rushed for 60 yards and one score.

Craig Jacobs was his usual excellent self, rushing for 213 yards and one touchdown while picking up 11.8 yards per carry for Peekskill. With that strong performance, Jacobs is now averaging an impressive 126 rushing yards per game. Christian Preston was another key player, throwing for 28 yards and a pair of TDs.
