Volleyball Recap: Lake Station Edison Takes a Loss

Lake Station Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Illiana Christian Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-5.

Lake Station Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Illiana Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake Station Edison will challenge rival Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Illiana Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Whiting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
