Delsea is 8-2 against Cumberland since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Crusaders will challenge the Colts at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Delsea has 17 straight victories, Cumberland has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Delsea is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Deptford with a sharp 21-1 win on Wednesday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

Ethan Dubois was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Dubois was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Austin Buchannon and Nick Mokienko did most of the damage at the plate: Buchannon went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Mokienko went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Alex Grippo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
Delsea was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Cumberland fell victim to Washington Township and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Minutemen.
Cumberland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Sheppard, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Sheppard has hit this season.
Delsea's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. As for Cumberland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
Everything went Delsea's way against Cumberland in their previous matchup back in April, as Delsea made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
