Softball Game Preview: Rancho San Juan Trailblazers vs. Stevenson Pirates

The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers will head out on the road to face off against the Stevenson Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rancho San Juan is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Carmel, falling 15-4.

Delylah Magdaleno was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Castillo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-9 to Carmel.

Maria Hall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Stevenson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rancho San Juan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
