Bishop Stang had lost ten games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 3-5 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Arlington Catholic Cougars by a score of 18-15. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on April 5th.
Bishop Stang let Ava Texeira and Sophia Brousseau run wild. Texeira fired off two home runs, four stolen bases, and four runs while going 3-for-5, while Brousseau fired off three triples, three runs, and two RBI while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most RBI Brousseau has posted since back in April of 2024. Rachel Ledo was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
