Volleyball Recap: Antioch Takes a Loss

Antioch lost against Lawson on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears came up short against the Lightning, falling 3-0. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-12.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lawson, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Antioch will challenge rival Hunters Lane at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lawson is set to take on their familiar foe Hillsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
