Soccer Game Preview: Bethel vs. Kecoughtan

The Bethel Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Kecoughtan Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bethel came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Warwick, falling 6-2. Bethel haven't had much luck with Warwick recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kecoughtan kept a clean sheet against Norview on Monday. They blew past the Pilots 4-0. Considering Kecoughtan have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Kecoughtan, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Bethel skirted past Kecoughtan 2-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
