Basketball Recap: Wood Memorial Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Wood Memorial Trojans ended up a good deal behind the Jasper Wildcats and lost 58-42. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wood Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Jasper, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wood Memorial will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loogootee at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Jasper, they will welcome Pike Central at 8:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
