Baseball Game Preview: Abbott RVT Wolverines vs. Kaynor Tech Panthers

The Abbott RVT Wolverines are taking a road trip to challenge the Kaynor Tech Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Abbott RVT took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Wright Tech. Considering the Wolverines' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Kaynor Tech had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaynor Tech's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Abbott RVT, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 4-8.

Abbott RVT couldn't quite finish off Kaynor Tech in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 4-2. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
