Basketball Recap: Questa Takes a Loss

Questa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes, falling 76-36. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers/Rangerettes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-46 back in January.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Juan Cisneros, who posted six points and eight rebounds. Cisneros is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carlos Ortega, who earned six points.

Questa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Mora, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Questa and Mora will both be playing McCurdy the next time they take the court. Mora will head out to face McCurdy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Questa will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
