Softball Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Airport has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.17 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Sunday. They came up short against the Allen Park Jaguars, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Jets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Allen Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Airport has already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Milan on the 19th. As for Allen Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Grand Blanc on the 18th.
