Volleyball Game Preview: Cloverleaf Colts vs. Woodridge Bulldogs

The Cloverleaf Colts will take on the Woodridge Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverleaf will be strutting in after a victory while Woodridge will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Cloverleaf beat Field 3-1.

While Cloverleaf might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Field scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Woodridge came up short against Norton on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-9.

Cloverleaf's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-6. As for Woodridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Everything went Cloverleaf's way against Woodridge in their previous matchup back in September, as Cloverleaf made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
