Basketball Game Preview: Pinecrest Academy Paladins vs. Fulton Science Academy Mustangs

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton Science Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinecrest Academy, who comes in off a win.

Pinecrest Academy is headed out to face Fulton Science Academy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Paladins walked away with a 68-55 win over North Georgia HomeSchool last Tuesday.

Michael Lynch was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards. What's more, he posted three steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Miles, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 16 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fulton Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, falling 83-40. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Everything came up roses for Pinecrest Academy against Fulton Science Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 59-23 victory. Will the Paladins repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
