Softball Game Preview: Silsbee Tigers vs. Salado Eagles

For the second straight game, Silsbee will face off against Salado. The Tigers will welcome the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Silsbee 3.9, Salado 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Silsbee heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They fell 5-2 to Salado. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

The win (which was Salado's seventh in a row) raised their record to 28-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Silsbee, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-13.
