Volleyball Recap: Winfield Beats Hurricane for Their Third Straight Win

Winfield waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hurricane Redskins by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Winfield got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 31-29.

Brooklyn Cole paced Winfield's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cole got some help from Kynnlee Mcclure and her 13 assists.

Winfield's record now sits at 28-10-2. As for Hurricane, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-20-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winfield will square off against Woodrow Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hurricane, they will challenge Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
