Football Recap: Chilton County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chilton County extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Chelsea Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Hornets are ranked 68th).

As for Chelsea, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 24 points or more this season.

Morgan Barnes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 137 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching one TD. Those 137 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Chilton County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 41-16 loss against Calera on the 10th. As for Chelsea, they have also already played their next game, a 44-7 defeat against Spain Park on the 10th.
