Basketball Game Preview: Kim/Branson Mustangs vs. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots

Kim/Branson is 1-9 against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Kim/Branson Mustangs will take on the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Kim/Branson's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s offense will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] entered their contest against Eads on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] was outmatched by Eads and fell 58-25. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Eagles are ranked 35th).

Kim/Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 9-7.

Kim/Branson ended up a good deal behind South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] when the teams last played back in February of 2024, losing 44-28. Can Kim/Branson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
