Recap: Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers vs. St. Joseph's Catholic Knights
After flying high against the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal last Tuesday, the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers came back down to earth. Christ Church Episcopal took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph's Catholic. Christ Church Episcopal was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Joseph's Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph's Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harper Greer, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelia Stefanik, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.
Christ Church Episcopal bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Southside Christian the next time they take the court. St. Joseph's Catholic will head out to face Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Christ Church Episcopal will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
