Basketball Recap: Eau Gallie Takes a Loss

Eau Gallie lost against Satellite last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eau Gallie Commodores took a 42-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Satellite Scorpions. The Commodores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Satellite found their leader in sophomore Leigh Hertel, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Halyn Hargis, who scored 12 points.

Eau Gallie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Satellite, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

Eau Gallie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-32 win against Merritt Island on the 24th. Satellite has also already played their next contest, a 36-28 victory against Cocoa Beach on the 23rd.
