Softball Recap: St. James Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

St. James won against Carolina Forest last Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. St. James beat Carolina Forest by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

St. James pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Carolina Forest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. James is set to take on their familiar foe Conway at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. James 2.5, Conway 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Carolina Forest will challenge rival North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
