Basketball Recap: Big Piney Comes Up Short

Big Piney was the 50-49 winner over Wind River when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Piney Punchers fell 39-26 to the Wind River Cougars on Saturday.

Big Piney has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Wind River, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Piney will welcome Farson-Eden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wind River, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars face off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
