Soccer Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley lost against Powdersville back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Easley Green Wave fell 2-0 to the Powdersville Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Green Wave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Patriots are ranked third).

Easley suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 2-2-1. As for Powdersville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Easley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Greenville on the 11th. As for Powdersville, they have also already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Palmetto on the 10th.
