Soccer Game Recap: Denton vs. Lake Dallas

After losing to the Lake Dallas Falcons the last time they met, the Denton Broncos decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Denton skirted past Lake Dallas 3-2.

Denton was led to victory by the tag-team duo of Joel Rodriguez and Cris Ordonez, who scored all three of Denton's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.

Denton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Lake Dallas, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Argyle the next time they take the pitch. Denton will host Argyle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lake Dallas will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 20th.
