Volleyball Recap: Graham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Tazewell on Tuesday, Graham came back down to earth. The G-Men came up short against the Richlands Blue Tornado on Thursday, falling 3-0. The G-Men have struggled against the Blue Tornado recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Graham ultimately came up short, they really made Richlands work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-15.

Elise Jacobs paced Graham's offense, picking up nine kills. Jacobs got some help from Grace Dixon and her 11 assists. Jacobs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Richlands, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Graham has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Lebanon on the 21st. Richlands has also already played their next contest (against Virginia High), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
