Ahead of the 2021 high school football season, MaxPreps is breaking down the top senior prospects in the country state-by-state as rated by 247Sports. We continue the series with Hawaii, which opens play this weekend.

This fall marks a return to play for the state, which did not play high school football during the 2020-21 school year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

St. Louis (Honolulu) features five of the top ten players.

By position, linebackers hold down the top two spots, including Stanford commit Tevarua Tafiti of Punahou (Honolulu), while there are four offensive linemen among the top ten. There are also two quarterbacks.

As of Aug 4, eight of the top 10 had committed to college. Both Boise State and Hawaii led the way with two recruits each.
