Football Recap: Groton-Dunstable Comes Up Short

After flying high against Blackstone-Millville two weeks ago, Groton-Dunstable came back down to earth. The Crusaders came up short against the Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies on Friday, falling 79-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (38), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Groton-Dunstable's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Groton-Dunstable will face off against Acton-Boxborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greater Lowell Tech at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
