Volleyball Recap: Rancho Verde Comes Up Short

Rancho Verde was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Orange Vista Coyotes. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyotes earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-20, 25-21.

Rancho Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Orange Vista, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho Verde will face off against rival Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Orange Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Hemet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
