Baseball Game Preview: Brennan Bears vs. Warren Warriors

For the second straight game, Brennan will face off against Warren. The Bears will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brennan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Warren's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Brennan didn't have quite enough to beat Warren and fell 4-3.

For Warren's part, Alex Garza spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adrian Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Daniel Escarcega, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Warren is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Brennan, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
