Basketball Recap: Wilburton Takes a Loss

Wilburton lost against Stigler back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wilburton Diggers fell 50-39 to the Stigler Panthers.

Wilburton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Stigler, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-12 record.

Wilburton will square off against Heavener at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilburton is facing Heavener at the right time seeing as Heavener is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stigler, they will challenge Westville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stigler is on a four-game streak of home losses, Westville an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
