Baseball Recap: Shoemaker Takes a Loss

Shoemaker suffered their closest loss since March 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bryan Vikings by a score of 8-6. The Wolves have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Orville De Jesus-Moreno was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Damian Montanez-Figueroa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Shoemaker now has a losing record of 8-9-2. As for Bryan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-12-2.
