Volleyball Recap: Durfee Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Durfee won the last time they faced Scituate and things went their way on Monday too. The Hilltoppers came out on top against the Sailors by a score of 3-1.

Durfee was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-11, 25-12.

Durfee's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for Scituate, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Durfee will be playing in front of their home fans against Taunton at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scituate, they will head out to face off against St. John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sailors are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
