Softball Recap: Aurora Makes It 24 in a Row at Home

While Aurora put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Max S. Hayes. The Greenmen put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Greenmen, who have now won 17 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Aurora pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Max S. Hayes, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Aurora will host Avon Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Max S. Hayes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
