Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntington). They put the hurt on the Riverside Warriors with a sharp 68-43 win on Saturday. The Highlanders pushed the score to 53-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Riverside's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Ward, who posted nine points. That's the most points Ward has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cianna Groom, who put up nine points and seven boards.

Huntington's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Riverside, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Huntington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they will take on Capital at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Riverside is facing Capital at the right time seeing as Capital is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
