The Douglas County Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Rock Canyon Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglas County's defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so Rock Canyon's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Douglas County will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12 points on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Heritage on Friday. The Huskies took down the Eagles 31-12.

Meanwhile, Rock Canyon earned a 19-7 win over Heritage on Monday.

Rock Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points over those games. As for Douglas County, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Douglas County beat Rock Canyon 27-20 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
