Softball Recap: McKeel Academy Takes a Loss

If McKeel Academy was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Kathleen on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 7-3 to the Parrish Community Bulls on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulls recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

McKeel Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamryn Scobey, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

McKeel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Parrish Community, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKeel Academy will welcome Lakeland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parrish Community, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lake Region at 7:00 p.m.
