Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Lancers vs. Nichols Vikings
St. Mary lost against Nichols back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Mary's Lancers fell 54-47 to the Nichols Vikings.

Despite the loss, St. Mary's still got an impressive performance from Will Szablewski, who went 11 for 17 on his way to 25 points in addition to six boards and five blocks. Szablewski has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Landon Patterson was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.
Nichols was led to victory by Mitchell Masiello and Tre Paulfrey. Masiello went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points along with six boards and four steals, while Paulfrey posted 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals Masiello has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Bennett, who had seven points and five boards.
St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Nichols, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
