Softball Game Preview: Indian Springs Thunderbirds vs. Round Mountain Knights

The Indian Springs Thunderbirds will head out on the road to challenge the Round Mountain Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Indian Springs sitting on six straight victories and Round Mountain on four.

Indian Springs barely beat Tonopah the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunderbirds blew past the Muckers 24-17 on Tuesday. Considering the Thunderbirds have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Round Mountain got the win against Beaver Dam on Friday by a conclusive 18-8. The Knights are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth contest they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Round Mountain's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Indian Springs, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
