Baseball Game Preview: Independence/Gilmanton Indees vs. Augusta Beavers

The Independence/Gilmanton Indees will face off against the Augusta Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Independence/Gilmanton and nine for Augusta.

On Tuesday, Independence/Gilmanton didn't have quite enough to beat Blair-Taylor and fell 3-1.

Independence/Gilmanton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Lopez's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Augusta's offense. They came up short against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on Friday, falling 18-0.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Independence/Gilmanton, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
