If Parkway South wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lutheran South, they should've done a better job of containing Malachi Seying. The Lancers put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday for which the team can thank Seying, who had 18 digs. He has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times he's played.

Lutheran South never let Parkway South on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Parkway South still got an impressive performance from Jack McClanahan, who had ten digs and two aces.

Lutheran South is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-7-2 record this season. As for Parkway South, their loss dropped their record down to 18-12.

Coming up, Lutheran South will face off against Fox at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkway South, they will host Oakville at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
